Officially a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma
So today I initiated into my sorority. This whole initiation week has been incredibly busy. The seniors made us do all this stuff like steal stuff from the frat houses and buy them scones from the local bakery. It was pretty tiring...this morning we had to get up at 7! But it was fun too...I bonded a little with my pledge class, but there is still a long ways to go.
On another social note...I'm finally feeling like I'm making some real friends here. I've had some good talks with a girl who lives next door to me and she is really cool. Also, the girls who live on the other side of me are really nice and I've been out with them a few times. They're really clean cut and sweet and I like that about them since they're different from some of the girls in Kappa. I will say Kappa isn't your stereotypical sorority, but there are definitely a few girls that fit the mold.
On a sad note...Phil left Whitman today for a "leave of absence." I've been running with him and gotten to know him better. He's a very good guy and I hope that he can figure things out. Thats all for now, plus ridiculous amounts of homework.
