Yes, because filling up landfills with rubber is a good, environmentally sound plan. ; P As if they wouldn't just buy new tires.

Um, I mean. Tire swings. Flip-flops. Awesome post apocalyptic shoulder pads. The applications are endless!

Seriously. I mean, "recycle" or "use reusable shopping bags" (both of which I also do) weren't on there? How about buying energy efficient appliances when you upgrade them, or repairing window or wall leaks to keep the heat in or out as appropriate? Or buying locally grown produce? And that's just off the top of my head! Bah.
