Gaia Consort in Lights!
Long day yesterday too. Helped organize food for Gaia Consort last night. J and C were excellent helpers! I was ostensibly in charge, but we made quite the partnership and they were both easy to work with. Made it even more enjoyable. JC came backstage for the evening food stuff and was a great help with the cleaning as well. And many thanks to damiana_swan's girls and their friend for the help with dishes and cleaning! I'm told that our food crew got rave reviews. Thanks again ladies! Could not have done it without you!
I really think I need to find a way to make money doing this kind of stuff. I really enjoyed it, from the menu planning to the running around to the cooking and the multi-tasking the day of. souxiequeue would you mind sending me what contact info you're willing to give out for a reference? Thanks!
It was a very good concert. The band and crew both worked very well together and everything felt almost professional. ;) G is a good stage manager and M has really gotten the hang of back-stage managing. I think it helped alot to have the massage therapists there. There seemed to be alot less tension and frantic activity going on. Liz did an exellent job and I wish I had picked up one of her cards.
The icing on the cake was when someone came back-stage to tell us that they had the band name in lights out on the Meydenbauer marquis! We had to send someone out to get still and video shots. I hope they turned out.
Sigh. Yah. One last post then I really gotta get winding down for the evening.
