I don't even know where to start with this one.
I was watching the news this morning when I heard about a terrible freak accident on I-5 involving a semi-truck that had a wheel come off, and hit a van, instantly killing the passenger. They then said the name of the passenger, and I immediately realized that it is Bristol's husband. I sat there in shock for a few minutes, and then ran to the computer to see if I could find any more information to make sure that it actually was him, and not someone else. Unfortunately, it was him. They have a new baby girl that turned 4 months old today. Tomorrow is Bristol's first Mothers Day. And yesterday her husband was killed in a completely random, horrible accident.
I have been crying off and on all day, and I finally got a hold of her Mom. I just don't know what to do with this. When your friend suddenly loses the love of her life that she just had a child with...what do you even say? I told her Mom I'm here for them. That's about all I can do at this point. They had to take Bristol to the hospital today to sedate her since she is so upset.
I just had to get this out. I'm still in shock. I think we all will be for quite a while. I just feel so incredibly sad for her and her entire family, and the beautiful little girl who will not get a chance to know her Daddy.
