Holidays
Well, I am taking a few days off work. Right now is apparently the slow time of the year, I haven't had too much to do the past couple days, but have been busy otherwise. Can I tell you how frustrating it is not to have people call you back? UGH people...CALL ME BACK! It amazes me how many idiots there are in this profession.
Anyway, we are going to my Aunt's house for Thanksgiving this year. That is definitely a departure from normal. She is a good cook though so this is good. I am one of those strange people that doesn't really like Thanksgiving dinner...I'm not a huge fan of turkey or mashed potatoes, or cranberries, or any of it really. The only thing I really love on Thanksgiving is the pumpkin pie. Other than that I can basically take it or leave it. It will be fun to see my cousins though, so that is good.
Friday morning I will be up at the butt crack of dawn with all the other crazy people and head out to Bell Square where I plan on shopping all day and getting everything done. I have noticed that I don't get much time off with this job and if I don't do it all Friday I'm not sure that I will get done. Plus I have to buy everything for my Grandma since she can't shop, so I'm doing two lists. Thank goodness we don't have many people to buy for. I'm just basically sticking with my family and a couple friends and that's it.
So I got my hair cut in a ton of layers the other day, and I'm going a bit more blonde Dec. 3rd. I think it will be fun. Right now I have some blonde streaks through my hair and everyone seems to like it, so I'm taking the leap and going more blonde. I have NEVER been blonde in my life and I'm ready for a drastic change. Red was getting very boring. We'll see how it looks.
We are gearing up for our vacation on the 6th-10th. We are so excited! Disneyland here we come. We are staying at the Grand Californian this time, I decided that this is our Christmas present to each other, so I don't have to buy anything for Dustin. We really needed a break, so this works out well. Then I get back and the 11th is our office Christmas Party, and then the 15th is our office open house! Busy busy busy.
Ok, I've rambled enough, I'm going to clean the house a bit now before I head to Mom and Dad's for dinner. I feel like this house hasn't been cleaned for months!
