Things to be happy about
I has a house!
It's clean. AND the carpets don't need to be replaced. Yet.
I'm going on vacation in a week and a half.
I'm painting this weekend.*

My officemate/backup is awesome.
I think I found a contractor I'll be able to work with.
*(I realize painting is not something normal people would be happy about. But painting means I can make the walls the color *I* want them to be, which ties into control over my living space, and the whole buying-vs-renting thing. And color makes me happy.)
