Back from Hades!

Ye gods, I hate big group trips. I always - without a doubt - end up feeling blue and lonesome and like a third wheel to everyone. And given that the trip in question was scouting colleges, I ended feeling blue, lonesome, third-wheely and absolutely without a future.

I want go Reykjavik now.

That said, I was shocked Pepperdine in all it's wholesome Christianness didn't shoot me off the grounds. Surely the instant I started grinning at "single-sex dorms", they should have shoved my LaVeyan gay ass out the gate, and maybe set it on fire. I really like the people and campus, though.

That said, I have a strong urge now to schedule. Not necesarily adhere to the schedule, but to make my life these little boxes of time labeled "study Icelandic", "go to Tae Kwon Do" and "panic because a 4.1 GPA will not get you a scholarship". Hell, I'm even making a playlist for my thirty-minute workout tonight.

Also, having spent the weekend subjected to hip hop...Fergie needs to just die. I hate that woman. She needs to have one of her humps rebel against its blatant maltreatment and shove itself down her throat and die, or at least cause irreperable damage to her already panifully abused vocal cords. She can join Rhiana in her "I hate them because they suck" category.

And Bjork needs to cover Gwen Stefani's "Wind It Up" - "I know he sinks you fahnny stuff bu' do he know how wind you up? *shriek, heavy breathing* Winds it aaap!"

college, schedules, music, la escuela, ecky-ecky-ooh, bjork, trip
