(no subject)
Well, I didn't get much done around here yesterday, most notably I did not get A's closet cleaned out. Her room is just about painted, and L wants to do the closet tonight, so I *have* to get that done, and the surprising thing is, I'm actually looking forward to getting in there and going through everything.
Oh, her room. I picked blue for the walls and a light green for the ceiling, but then changed my mind and switched them, because the blue seemed a little dark. Well, no problem like that with the green! It went on practically neon! It is a seriously bright green room! When the sun is shining in there it reflects out, so there's this green glow in the hall. A loves it, and it looks so much better than what she had before...it's just so fucking green!! lol! I think we're going to get a stamp and put a pattern on a least a couple walls. And paint her closet doors and dresser blue, so hopefully that'll help tame it a little.

Last night mom and I went to a play at the little theater we love. It was called 'West Valley Story' a take-off on West Side Story and Romeo and Juliet. (Is that redundant?) Anyhow, it was about star-crossed lovers, a rich girl from the east side in love with a boy from the wrong side of the tracks, West Valley City, where I happen to live. It was one of the best shows they've done in a long time, imo. Lots of great songs, and local, topical humor. The lead, "Tony Montague" has a great voice, and he's a doll, kind of cross between Hal Sparks and...and...crap, his name just flew away - the guy on Scrubs. I hope he's in future shows.
