Abandoned buildings always have a certain mystique that attracts me. Here you have one of the
superb photos done by Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre, featured in their book, The Ruins of Detroit.
I chose this one because it struck me the most - it made me remember Rammstein's Klavier - this looks like what was left of the scene of the crime... The body of the beautiful girl has been taken out and the pianist murderer was dragged out of the room to be lynched by the desperate father and his men. After the bloody vengeance, the building was abandoned as cursed.

Somebody made a video for Klavier using scenes from
The Legend of 1900. Great movie, even if it was even more depressing than the depressing book. But I don't think it fits with Rammstein's song.
