It reminds me of some old interview. The interviewer was being sarcastic and saying something like "If you find the female sexual organs to be bitter and gross, maybe it's because your girlfriends aren't keeping a good hygiene?"
What an ass. Anyway, Richard answered; (It was originally in German, so it may not be quite accurate...)
"Your taste change over a time. Something you felt bitter may taste good now as you grew up. And the other way around...candies I used to like as a kid, taste way too sweet for me now. Every "frogs" taste different. It totally depends on a person what tastes good to him. Besides, we only said "bitter schmeckt"...we did not say it smells bad."
So they must have developed tastes for each other over the time. But yes, it's still fun to tease Richard. ;)
It's from a British music magazine "Sounds" 1997 July issue. There was Till in this interview as well, so the rest of the story is equally amusing.
I read this interview from the "rammsteininterviews.com" when it was still operating. Too bad the site is gone. That was a great source of information. Y'know, there still might be a copy of text somewhere...I kept that to do the translation. If I find it, I'll forward it to you.
