Making stuff
I decided today that I would make my own formal dress
I know that sounds worrying considering my sowing skills are not that great
however, I have a really sound idea of what I want and don't think I'd be able to buy it anywhere
so I spent all day practising with other fabrics I found lying around to get the pattern right
and after much frustration I finally managed something that fits and looks reasonable.
I also assume that my attempts at making a dress can't be any worse then some of the silksilky shinyshiny dresses some chicks will wear
with a side dish of orange tan of course.
now the problem shall be locating some fabric of what i want.
I've seen what I want but in the wrong colour so it shouldn't be too hard to find,
I shall look in lincraft tomorrow anywho
if its a success I shall be happy and might put up a picture,
if it fails however (which seems the more likely outcome) then I shall scrap the idea and conform to some shop bought shinyshiny dress :/
