Why do people think that painting the bases of trees white is ¨mas bonita¨? i just don´t get it.
i´m here in boquete (idyllic mountain town in Panama with nice rushing streams and forests and agriculture) doing my independent study project (biological corridors - that´s all anyone really needs to know). it´s a rather weird set-up. i have no real friends to talk to, so i just work on my freakin´ project all the time. it almost doesn´t seem real and i spend an inappropriate ammount of time on the computer. this is party week-end central in boquete. there´s tons of parades, music, booths, etc., but it´s not too fun when you´re all alone. and there´s alot of meat.
i think i´m ready to stop being intense and just sit somewhere scenic eating something juicy like grapes and not think about ANYTHING. i have 2.5 more weeks of this intenisity - hope i make it.
hmm . . . i feel like i have alot more to post, but it´s slipped my mind.
oh - i think there are bugs in my bed.
