(no subject)
Well - it's my last day at work - (that's where I am right now - work) and then it's on to the week o' fun which I'm quite excited about and then on to college which I'm also quite excited about.
Yesterday was a day of food, which = a pretty frickin' awesome day. Since it was several people's last day at work our supervisor brought us choc. chip cookies and jumbo blueberry muffins. Then I ate lunch. then I went to a pitch-in at clifty and ate chicken, Crisco potatoes, and marble cake gooey butter bars, which I think should be renamed just butter bars. I also ran around and played cornhole - what an awesome game. Then I went to a buffet and ate crab legs, crab cakes, blazin' redfish, salmon, peanut butter pie, bread pudding, and apple cobbler. Then I stopped eating. But then Polina and I started a bad idea club, so I ate a choc. chip cookie b/c I thought it was a bad idea. We also wanted to determine how much a butt load was, but we never found any marbles.
I also reestablished myself as the most disgusting person ever at the buffet - I was a complete mess!
Hmm . . . I'm a little nervous about this pre-orientation trip I'm leading b/c there's so much darned rock climbing, but I suppose all I'll really have to do is belay and teach silly little freshmen how to tie knots. I've determined I have no desire to rock climb, but I'll bet I'll get suckered into it. I've also determined I don't like the public too much. Hmm . . . we have some cute albeit confused kittens if anyone wants one.
okay - that's all although I do have poison ivy again for the sixth time this summer! and I really want to go geocaching, so if anyone can hook me up with a GPS unit let me know!
