If only we all walked slow...
Had a busy day today and yesterday so unfortuantely I had to let Melon down as I was just too knackered from Thursday.
Thursday
Had to sort out Becki's benefit forms (argh!). Then went to lunch at Summersalts (the best vegetarian place in Rugby, probably the only one), had brocoli quiche with yummy salad and they have the best organic coke in there. I brought a tape measure, it's yellow and it's quickly becoming my best friend. Went to see our TOWN HOUSE to measure up for furniture. Moving in..in 9 days! Hooked up (haha) with Melon, Shell and Sarah in town hung out for a bit, awesome people. Brought a new MP4 player...£20! Then went to see my solicitor, he's such a lovely man! Went to look for washer dryers..brought one (argh!). Then went to family friends for dinner, unfortunately I had to take my own as no veggie option so I took cauliflour cheese and carrot + suede mash which was delicious but not too healthy. Then finally came home and colapssed (and arranged the house warming par-t-y)!
Friday
Lemon was meant to meet Melon for the witness march but Lemon was a Lemon and didn't wake up and hence let Melon down but Lemon should be excused because Lemon is a Lemon however Melon is a Melon.
I got up at around 1pm then I decided to sort out my sky and broadband for when I move in and this is what happened:
I'm moving out in a week and I want/need broadband in my new home! So I've been looking at Sky and Virgin packages. Unfortunately I can't have Virgin cos it's cable but there is comunual sky. So today I ring up Sky and ask about their offers (I mentioned that the Sky dish is shared) and I choose my package then she asked me what box I wanted and I said idealy a Sky+ box, she then told me the price (£99) and I was like no way would I pay that so she put me on hold to see what she could do then she told me she could give it me for £79 still I didn't want it so then she offered it me for free if I signed up today and I was like YEAH! So I was getting a free Sky+ box plus all the 'entertainment' package (which is everything apart from sport and movies) which would be £21. Now onto the broadband, unfortunately there is no line connected at my new place but she said I could have broadband for £5 and that they would cover the BT connection cost (£125) so I would be getting free sky for 6 months basicly lol. So I paid the installation fee (£55) and got transfered to the installations department...after the connection had been arranged I mentioned about the comunal sky and the guy goes 'Oh we can't install it then, I'm going to have to cancel everything and give you a refund'. ARGH!! As it's shared Sky a different company installs it and they have different deals, so I rang this other number trying to sort it out and I got cut off so I just gave up. I don't think I'm going to get as good a deal!
Then we decided to have a 'family' trip out. But my stupid arse dad didn't want to go to ikea so after an argument we just went by ourselves (my ma, my sis and my me!). Had a tiring time as always but WE NOW HAVE EVERYTHING for the move!! (Apart from a sofa!) Spent around £200 (my my!). And I so didn't buy the quilt cover...okay I'm guilty but just look:
Isn't it just lush! I'm not putting the cover on till we move just put one pillow case on as I only sleep with one pillow and it came with four cases. So I am very broke now...I just keep wondering how I'll survive when I move...
Tomorrow
Got to start packing as I'm going on holiday on Tuesday coming back Sunday and moving on the Monday so hardly anytime to sort through this: (only half of my room!)
Then DEFINATELY meeting up with Melon (twice), once in the day and then later on for a party.
I've stopped the stalking...honest
I'm a 1/4 of the way through icons wooo!
