Quick post..
Weekend was nothing TOO exciting. Friday night we watched movies "Stealth" and "Rebound" - both pretty cute movies. Saturday we relaxed at home, Jason got his hair cut and then Allyssa's dad picked her up for their special night out. Dumbass had waited too long & couldn't get the tickets to the "daddy princess dance" - allyssa was heartbroken about it.. but anyway, I won't go into further detail b/c the whole thing will upset me over again. ANYWAY, he picked her up & they went to dinner and a movie. Jason, Payton & I met up with SIL who was in town from Chicago and then had dinner with her and FIL. After that we went to FIL's house for a bit then went home & Allyssa got dropped off.
Sunday I had a baby shower to go to for Jason's cousin. Makes me want a little one again, awwww! :P
Anyway, the BIG news is that Payton is SERIOUSLY on her way to being potty trained!!!! She started going on the potty this weekend & she's now grabbing our hands & saying potty, pulling down her pants & taking herself up to go on the potty! We were so excited! It wasn't even just a couple times, I'm talking over a dozen times just this weekend. We are so proud of her!!!! My mom is watching the girls this morning (b/c of Pres Day & Allyssa being off school), and she sent me an email saying that Payton already went potty for her this morning. YEAH!! I'm excited, this is way earlier than Allyssa started, but we'll see how long it takes to get her there. I'm sure she'll do it on her own time, but it's looking pretty promising that maybe she can be potty trained by this summer - or maybe her 2nd b-day??? that would be awesome!!!!!
