Nothing much going on..
Just getting back in the groove here at work - it's always so hard to come back when i've been gone for 2 weeks, LOL. Last week was basically me gearing up to WORK this week! LOL
I went to the gym here on campus every day last week on lunch. AND I went jogging aroudn our neighborhood last night too! YAY for me!!!! Going to the gym again today too. It's nice to be able to have one right here on campus, it's a shame I've been here for 3.5 years & this is the first year I've gone! LOL. Atleast I have people to go with now, it helps with motivation. We start our M/W/F cardio sculpt class at the end of the month & I have to get in shape a little by then or I'll keel over on the first class! LOL .. We have 5 months (from Wed) till our cruise, so I NEED to get toned up!!!!
This weekend I did a whole lot of NOTHING -which was a first in a LONG time. I loved it. Finally took down our x-mas stuff - did some laundry, played with the kids -- oh, and I was a regular Betty Crocker this weekend. I made porkchops in mushroom sauce on Saturday, and yesterday I made orange flavored chicken, green beans with bacon & mushrooms, and parsley potatoes. Yummy! This morning I put a whole (4lb) chicken in the crockpot with BBQ sauce - so it'll be ready & falling off the bone when we eat tonight! I could make dinners like this all the time, if I just had two things.. TIME and MONEY. LOL - as with everything, right?
Payton has her check up at the doctor on Wed - can't wait to hear how she's grown! She's trying to talk so hard, it's adorable. Every day she says something new - and we're really good at interpreting when she's saying stuff we can't quite understand, lol!
Allyssa is the same, smart-mouthed 7 year old. LOL. She & I played monopoly on Saturday night - and SHE won. (on her own!) how sad is that! LOL. She was loving it though - and it's always nice to spend some time together just us. (Jason was downstairs playing Playstation & Payton was sleeping!)
My boss just got back from the Fiesta Bowl -- and tells me he's going to Rome at the end of the month. HOW NICE! So jealous... someday I'll have those luxuries.... lol
