Drive-by posting...
Since I don't have a lot of time to write, I'll do a super-fast recap & show ya pics from the weekend!
Friday night Allyssa spent the night with her cousin at a sleepover. Jason, Payton & I had Famous Daves for dinner - yum! and I wrapped some more presents, just relaxed.
Saturday - picked Allyssa up at 8 am, then dropped her off at the high school for the pom clinic/practice. We picked her up at noon & went to Arby's and FIL dressed up as Santa's (he's the GM at the store there), Allyssa knew immediately it was him, but she didn't care. Payton was scared to death, LOL. It took her a bit, then she warmed up (she never did figure out it was grandpa, she was just scared by the red suit & white hair/beard, lol!
Then we all went home & took a nap and then headed over to the high school. They had so many kids sign up that they split them up into two groups, some performing at the JV game, and others at the varsity game. Allyssa did the varsity game which was good b/c there was more people! She did sooo good - it was so cute too! The video is just precious. She had a group of 8 of us watching & cheering for her, she was so excited. Afterwards we drove through a neighborhood that most of them do x-mas lights (big displays), every year, so we went through there - surprisingly nothing exciting this year. Then went home & went to bed.
Sunday was a lazy day - well, for them, lol. I went & did a little bit of shopping, then we all came home & cleaned.
Work is CRAZY this week - I'll be at an off-site strategy meeting tomorrow, so atleast it's a day away from the office! Then it's a short week & I'm on vacation starting Friday at 4! woohoo!

(p.s. some of the pom pics came out dark - booo. you can tell which one Allyssa is though b/c she has the maroon & gold ribbon in her hair!)
