(no subject)
So the evening started out good, then the rain came - we were only out just under an hour with Payton, then we headed home to pass out candy. Allyssa went around our neighborhood with her dad, came home around 6:30 totally drenched - hopefully she doesn't get sick! The kids had a good time though. Payton was not sure what to think of everyone in costumes, she was checking everyone out - it was so cute... Once she realized people were putting candy in her basket, she would NOT let it go, I tried to carry it for her so it wouldn't be too heavy & she screamed when I tried to take it, lol - just like her dad, do NOT take her food away from her... hehe.
Anyway, after the kids got home, MIL stopped by, then we left and went by FIL's house and then my MOH's house - and to renew our license plates on the truck, nothing like last minute huh, lol! Love the 24 hour automated system though, it's so easy to do it that way...

It all started when we were watching Scream 3 on tv the other day, told Allyssa she couldn't watch it with us b/c she'd have bad dreams, well she kept peeking down the stairs at it, making excuses to come down & watch bits & pieces... said it was "funny" and not scary at all. Then she tried to scare payton with FIL's red mask... so Jason borrowed his friends Scream mask & coat thing... Allyssa got out of the shower & I told her she could lay in our bed. Jason was hiding on the other side of the bed & when I left, he jumped out at her - she freaked out, hid under the covers & started screaming.. I started videotaping it too (bad mommy, LOL).. then Jason tried to get under the covers & she was kicking, punching & I could tell she was crying - so I stopped him right away & made him take off the mask. I actually felt bad at first b/c she really was scared... then she wanted to watch the video, LOL! and she kept giving Jason dirty looks. He couldn't stop laughing though.. and I couldn't stop feeling bad! (although it was funny, for a minute, until I could tell she was really scared)... she laughed this morning though & told me to make sure that mask is out of our house when she gets home tonight.. LOL

Ok, off to work for now, but I'll BBL! I'm busy trying to plan our x-mas party for work - talk about last minute! We were SO limited with dates, that we got stuck with Dec 2, soooo early for a party! But oh well. I had a few places in mind & took one of the other office girls with me and guess what place she liked best? The place I had our wedding reception at! :) :) So, our christmas party will be there!! I may even get the same dj if he cuts me a discount (especially since he was young & I liked him!) So, now I'm scrambling to pull everything off in exactly one month from tomorrow! Wish me luck!
