I managed to watch the ball drop afterall, but I couldn't agree with you more...it was almost too depressing to watch Dick struggle with the countdown. At 12:01 I thought to myself, I do not want to see that again.

It made me sad when Dick Clark came on. I watched with my Brother who was just starting new medications that made him so tired and we talked about how sad it was, unfortunately I couldn't understand my brother any better than Dick as he was not use to the meds. So I was calling him Dick Clark, which was pretty mean in retrospect but he laughed, I think. :D

So many people moved to Facebook, but I really like the livejournal forum a bit better. Facebook is quicker and fun though. It's like a combo of chat/lj or something and you're right you end up reconnecting with people you haven't seen in years, which is so cool and brings up all the old school memories. :D I've noticed it's like you and your pals are doing the Facebook version of that show Class Reunion. :D
