I love going back and reading my old thoughts on HP. I have been really into the whole "how will Harry beat Voldemort" end of things lately and I thought this was an interesting question.
Is Voldemort using Harry's blood to regenerate a good idea?
I think it is moronic and so short sighted. Although I am thrilled he is as pompous and cocky as he is. All of Voldemort's plots to "one up" Harry always seem to end up crashing in on him in the end. Most notably, IMO, is the Tri-Wizard tournament and all the things he did before he was back to power. It's like in order to regenerate himself he had to TRAIN Harry how to survive a battle with him. In a round about way Voldermort is the one who is giving Harry the fighting skills to beat him, it's his friends and their love (as well as his parents) who will give him the heart to do it. Voldemort has no concept of this.
