I should have known that I would follow in my dad's footsteps. I am now officially a business owner. I guess my corporation is a little bit different than my daddy's "Wrenches On Wheels" mechanic shop in Oxford, MI but its the same "entrepreneurial spirit" that motivated him that is motivating me now. I'm excited and scared but I don't have anything to lose and something would have to go horribly wrong for this not to succeed, and even if something did go horribly wrong I think we could keep it afloat. Shit I'm lucky.
Anyway, I just took the garbage out and Jerry was on his way back in the house and helped me. It is always severely uncomfortable to talk to the man, and I looked like crap because I just took a shower and didn't bother to wipe the mascara off my face. Not that I care what I look like around Jerry but it is always horribly embarrassing to be caught outside of the house looking ragged.
Digital Cable next week! Woo hoo!!!
This morning on the train I saw a woman who looked like the Queen Mother. She had impeccable posture and had on little tan leather gloves and this perfect little navy blue felt hat and she looked so classic and precious. It made me miss Jason and I had half a mind to call him and tell him that. Her husband was this little rickety old man and as he was getting off the train at Belmont some bitch rushing by on her cell phone ran smack into the poor little guy. But everyone who was politely and patiently waiting for him and "the Queen" to exit shot the woman some very dirty looks, so I'm sure she felt like the big asshole that she was.
I miss Jason. I need cuddles...
