Thanksgiving Weekend Wrap-Up
So.. what did you all do for your Thanksgiving break?
I know Taylor was cooking breakfast and shopping at Target.com, while Andy was hanging out with Cesar and being attacked by small, remorseless children, and kitta has been making beautiful Christmas jewelry and been stumped at her antibiotic typo.
I myself had five days off from school, which was great. Tuesday was my last day of class last week, and I've spent the break doing just that: taking a break.
Wednesday was spent watching the ENTIRE season 3 of Felicity. That's right. I watched every single 45-minute episode on the season 3 dvd set. That was all I did all day and it was great.
Thursday was spent cleaning. I woke up late and just began cleaning. It's funny how you can spend the entire day cleaning and never finish... That's what ended up happening. I eventually went to my parents' house for Thanksgiving dinner and pigged out on cornbread stuffing and ch1ck3n!
Friday I kept on cleaning.. I think I managed to clean out our storage/pantry room and the fridge that day.. It doesn't sound like much work but it really is, especially if you're doing a deep clean requiring sponges and elbow grease... eww, grease!
Saturday, I was invited to Ruben's house to celebrate a second Thanksgiving dinner with his parents, brother, and sister-in-law. It was really cool because after dinner, we played this game called "Catch Phrase" which is like a mix of Taboo and Hot Potato. You all gotta try it.
Sunday was TODAY. I went over to Rub's house to hang out and see his bro and sis off. We played a few games of Halo while we waited for Andy to go over, and we went outside to rollerblade for a bit. Andy came over and we all played Live.. it was great (as always). I can't wait until I get up to austin and set up my internet/xbox live stuff.. !!!!!!!!!
Right now i'm at my parents' house. They cooked up this whole big carne-asada thing and it was really great.. I apologize for the semi-short entry but I really can't stay out much later since I have class in the morning!! I'll definitely blog tomorrow.
