So I see someone has started a com for a Teen Wolf rare pairs fic fest, but I'm pretty disappointed because I'm not comfortable with the rules. My main concern is that you have to sign up without ever seeing any of the prompts. I don't understand the point of that. Why would you hide all the prompts and not let anyone see them? And why would you insist that everyone sign up ahead of time? I don't want to sign up for something sight unseen. I'm also pretty surprised by that minimum word count. 3000 words seems to be a high minimum for a prompt grab. I could see it for an exchange, but man, for a prompt grab?
I guess I'm just used to the other fests I've participated in where the prompt list isn't hidden, no one has to actually sign up to participate, and the word count minimums are usually around 1500. whoviantrekster, I hope this doesn't discourage you from running a fic fest in twrarepairs leading up to the premier like we discussed earlier.
