Hurricane Drunk
I already had a tree fall on me this summer, so as far as I'm concerned Hurricane Irene's got nothing on me. This is New England and people need to simmer down. Worst case scenario, considering the media has already substantially downgraded the hurricane, is that we get some superbly wet weather and flooding down by the beaches. It'll be like the equivelent of a Noreaster, minus the snow.
Which still puts a rench in all my weekend plans, but hey, whatever. I'm still going to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show---- so long as they don't cancel that, too.
To anyone who actually WILL be effected by the hurricane, my thoughts are with you, but hopefully it won't be as bad as everyone's making it out to be :).
