Due to budget constrains many of the shirts and some of the pants are from the thrift store and the prayer shawls were purchased buy the stage manager and one of the actors. Every single item was altered in some way though to make it fit the period an to try to copy the movie as much as possible.

Absolutely wonderful work! Do you do this full time, or part of a theatre troupe?

I am a professional costume designer. At the moment I am doing commissions primarily but looking forward to more large jobs like this one.....

The theater is about 35-40 miles from my house so a bit far for becoming the costume mistress there but I am very willing to do more shows for them :)

I am currently doing other part time jobs as well but this is the one that I love the most.

I also did this job in less than two months! It was awesome.

LOL community theater is community in this case. Each person or a friend does the makeup....sigh.

I did not supply the Yarmulke....we were going for variety and low or no cost budget was at zero already. So all of the yarmulkes for play were borrowed and donated...Lazar Wolf is wearing another actors niece's......lol....tiny but stays on without help.

Lazer is a sweetheart and like you only goes a few weeks between plays...
