His hands look totally normal. Well, usually, they're not. He's still reeling from looking at himself and seeing normal, unbruised skin.
In fact, he's still reeling from seeing anything at all, without it being grey and blurred and mostly unidentifiable. Also, he can hear birds chirp. Birds! Chirping! So nice. ;_;
But, yes, he's outside, kneeling in the grass and looking at a flower he's got between the two (bare!!!) fingers of one hand. Flowers! With individual petals! IT'S REALLY NEAT, OKAY.
Every so often, he has to wipe his eyes.
