Oh yes, the women rocked! Hell, the whole series rocked. I´m not happy with what they did to Ianto and Jack and the Torchwood I loved is gone... but it was brilliant.
I guess we will have to wait and see. :-) I think that "reset buttons" are stupid but I wouldn´t mind one in this case that much (especially if it would mean getting Owen back), but yeah, if it´s at least half as good as COE, I will watch anything. Because I´m not one of those who "OMG can´t stop crying and will OMG never watch Torchwood again and RTD is evil personified and should burn in hell forever". *g*
Ooh, didn't know people were quite so upset! LOL! I'm definitely not one of those people. It was very sad that Ianto died, but that and Jack's sacrifice of his son was part of what made it so interesting! That's human/alien drama!
Heartrending, I like! Yeah, hearts, puppies and flowers don't get me there at all! They just don't take you to that place where you have to ponder the awful choices and the consequences, which, on reflection teach us something the human condition in general and about ourselves in particular.
Ooh, I just googled James Moran and read his latest blog entry. OMG, people! Really, they need to get a LIFE! It's TV!
Lol! There're some keen observations in that spoof! I thought the character stuff was pretty spot on for earlier seasons - they were all over the place there for a while. Much preferred how they have stabilized into their characters in this latest season.

I know re Torchwood! What are they going to do now? Is that the end of it all?

And upset doesn´t even begin to cover it. People even managed to piss James Moran off.
