At long last...
Hrm, I guess I owe everyone an update on the last week of classes and almost all of the first week of break.
Well, the week of finals wasn't too bad. I got together with Brian again and we figured everything out. He's a great guy, I'm glad I had the chance to meet him, even if it didn't work out. But, I guess you live and learn. Hrm, well, I know I talk to a lot of my friends on here in person most of the time, so I don't have anything huge to write...I normally tell my friends when important things are going on. Ok, that's as far as I'm going to take that cut. It's done, I'm home, it was a choice...and that's where it will stay. I'm officially done with it.
Katy is currently at the beach, and I miss her. <3. I had a great year being friends with her, and I hope next year is even more fun. I can't believe we'll be seniors, but we'll make it work. I'm glad we became friends and I hope that it lasts.
Finals went well. I pulled three b's and an a. I am pretty happy with it. The finals were 5 papers and 1 actual test which was writing an essay on things we'd been told to study. It worked out really well and i think i wrote a pretty damn good paper...actually, i must have to have gotten a b. I am glad this year went well and I'm sure that next year I'll be having much more fun.
I'm taking some great classes, and my thesis class is on Jane Austin. I can't wait for those classes. I have a little leeway to drop one class in one semester, though I'm not sure I will. I'm ready to do well and thoroughly enjoy the whole year.
Hrm, so back at home. It's crazy to have so much space to wander around. I don't feel quite as claustrophobic when I'm at home. I have a lot more space to move around, then I just get restless. I am happy to be home. I get to hang out with some friends I have not seen in a long time. I miss them when I'm at school, and it's fantastic to be included again when I'm back.
I partied with some friend on Friday, the day after I got home, and then went to hang out with Angela, whom I hadn't seen in so long. We had a great time, followed by getting soaked in a huge thunderstorm, and then driving home. It was great. I can't wait to hang out with her more. We both have our boy issues, so maybe this summer we'll get it all worked out. I can't wait to see where this settles down.
I've already got two jobs working up, got offered a third, but it doesn't work well as a third part-time. So I've to find something else if i want to stick with three jobs. I really want to. I'd love to get a lot of work time in and keep busy and then have just enough to play more frisbee and hang out with some friends. I start work tomorrow at Gap and this weekend I'm at merriweather Friday and then Preakness on Saturday. I can't wait to work Preakness. I'll probably get paid as a manager. I am super excited.
Tonight I should be hanging out with some friends and just overall chilling.
