I'm sure he and Shinji are still very close. I mean, if things mirror canon at all, those two's lives have wound tightly together. Them and Hiyori make kind of a trio, actually, a very blonde trio with a very interesting dynamic. And re: Hiyori coming between Shinji and many things... well... yes. Hahaha. But I'd really like to know what their backstory is, canon and otherwise, because theirs is yet another relationship that is very interesting.

Also on another note entirely, Shinji being a pharmacist in Monoshizukanohi-verse kind of cracks me up because in Mercy Street, a big Bleach game I used to play Shinji at, Kisuke was a pharmacist (among other things) and Shinji was the big businessman (among other things). Role reversal!

I'm talking entirely too much about Shinji in a comment thread on a Kisuke/Shuuhei story, pfff
