Four Character Proverbs

Sakura Japanese Kanji ProverbsThis is actually something shared in both Chinese and Japanese traditions, but I found a fascinating blog that *only* posts those four-character proverbs and translates them into what they mean with Japanese cultural references in English. As to not finding what you were looking for... have you been Googled/Wikied? That happens to me all the freaking time.

Ohh! New SamCham? I'm looking forward to that even more so now as I've finally seen the anime (and read the manga).

I looked for it using Google and Wiki, but couldn't figure it out.

I loved the anime for it, just the motion of the main characters...whew.

How about Miyajima?

Miyajima is a small island outside of Hiroshima that is famous for its shrine and "floating" torii gate. There are about 1300 cherry trees around the shrine and along the island's walking trails.
