Oh, wonderful! I loved seeing the young Yoruichi, Kuukaku, Kisuke and Tessai. Plus, the way you depicted the seeds of Shunsui's philosophy about fighting was brilliant. I've always been fond of the idea that some of the noble houses were actively opposed to the idea of bringing commoners into the Academy.

I'm also intrigued by Shunsui's way of deflecting the conversation at the fortune-teller's. He's got a sneaky streak a mile wide.

Oh, wow. It *is* really cool to see what it was that you saw. Yeah, what Shunsui finds valuable as the seeds for what he'll later be.

Yes, diverting the fortuneteller, for all that she might have been harmless... *laughs* I hadn't realized how Shunsui that was until you called it out. He just *does* stuff in these stories, and they feel right, but... it's so cool to have someone else call them out as well.

NEW CHAPTER YES! Oh happy day! The beginning hinted at so many things to come and the second half was incredibly sweet, I was grinning all the way through. Shunsui's comment about breaking into Jyuushirou almost made me laugh out loud. Gotta love that rascal...

Wonderful as always! I think I need to go back and re-read the whole thing soon.
