Difficult in this context to want to say "poor Ichimaru", but really, poor Ichimaru . . . And poor Seireitai.

I really should stop reading these.. they make me so sad.. But I can't! All the chapters are just so well written. The Kira makes my heart break though.. ;.; I love him too much. Love your imagery in this chapter too, by the way =) And I agree with incandescens. Poor Ichimaru -cry-

I'm glad that you're enjoying the writing at least. I do have a soft spot for Kira... and Gin, oddly enough.

Wow. Finally, a peek inside Seireitei. Gin is... not doing so well upstairs, is he? Neither is Izuru, although when one is Hollowfied some insanity is excusable. It's really tragic how Gin thinks Rangiku is still alive. Interesting how he somehow remains something of a sympathetic character, much more than either Tousen or Aizen, despite the fact that he's the most outwardly violent of the three.

Yeah... Gin always intrigues me... but, yeah, as you say. Seireitei isn't a happy place.

Gin's going mad. Kira's going Hollow. I'd say they're gonna be pushovers when push comes to shove, but everyone knows that the Berserk is a dangerous foe to fight. If they are truly unpredictable, truly unfearing, they might be dangerous beyond all reason.

Also, Gin seems to have failed to learn the fundamental lesson about searching for traitors and conspiracies-that if there aren't any, you'll create plenty of them in short order with your investigations.
