That's wonderful. At first, I was very tempted just to write Shunsui's brother off as an ass, but there's something there besides (but not instead of) the assishness. It's an interesting dynamic, and I imagine that Shonetsu's frustration with Shunsui is as strong as Shunsui's is with him.

It was *hard* writing Shonetsu... he's still Shunsui's brother, in that he had to have some of the same fundamentals; but yeah, trying to *show* that their mutual frustrations with each other are both entirely justified...

hehehe ... very much worth the wait ... absolutely adored it ... one thing though ... at one point you were calling Shunsui's mom Miyako-sama and then later switched to Miyako-dono ... other than that little itty bitty thing, very lovely chapter ... I can't wait for the next part.

I really liked Shunsui's mom ... she's totally cool ... and I like the interaction between Shunsui and his brother ... completely believable (from personal experience) ... but like I said, the whole thing was great.
