(no subject)
Well, I'm back in Cleveland and ready to party. I've got a nonstop week of medical torture and work to go through, so I'm looking forward to getting back to Athens, but I was just so damnably glad to have the house to myself last night. It was a good evening. I started watching the first episodes of season 3 of Veronica Mars on my computer. I still plan to get them on DVD, because I love me some Veronica Mars, but for now, downloading 'em will have to do.
I also started watching Deadwood, on recommendation of my dad, who bought the first two seasons on DVD. He loves that show. It's pretty good. I'm three episodes in and enjoying it, thus far. Calamity Jane rocks.
On the bad-news side, the DVD/CD player on my laptop broke, and I definitely don't have the cash to fix it right now. Guess I'll need to start saving up, because without a DVD player, I'm fuckin' lost. It's just the way of things. I don't have much to do besides watch movies, normally. So, I'd be pretty down if I could no longer do so.
I had a good time in Delaware visiting Jen. I tried to call Francis, but, as always, no such luck. Oh, well. I still had fun with Jen. I watched some movies, she got me a birthday present, we just had a general good time. I even got some writing done, which is pretty awesome. I had to spend a little time doing homework, too, but I got it done and the quarter is complete. Let summer break begin! Woo!

I have a few things I could do, but the prospect of, you know, a doctor's appointment tomorrrow morning at 8AM and then getting a cavity filled on Thursday means that a whole lot of this week is going to filled with dread. Man but I don't like medicine folk.
