I have been getting lots of Harry/Snape-fics for both my Manipulative Dumbledore and Grandfatherly and mentor!Dumbledore lists. For the most part they don't seem to fully fit in either of the lists, so I won't be adding most Harry/Snape-fics with Dumbledore playing an important role as the chief-manipulator in getting them together in either of ( Read more... )

To part 3, possibly, Scratch and sequels, by auctasinistra. At Skyehawke, WTP, and Ink Stained Fingers. At least Dumbledore fires Snape after they defeat Voldemort. Anyway, it's a good story.

Hmm, I read the ending again. But I'm not really sure it fits - other than the fact that Dumbledore fires Snape once Voldemort is dead. But I did not get the impression that Dumbledore fired Snape only to keep him and Harry apart but that Dumbledore felt it was his duty to fire a teacher who had a relationship with a pupil and that he would have fired any teacher in those circumstances.

There is another Snarry, however, where Dumbledore actively fires Snape to keep them apart and they are forbidden to contact each other. Snape manages to circumvent that by sending a poetry book to Harry via Muggle post to Hermione's parents.

In case I never mentioned it, I enjoy your themed lists quite a lot. I usually find at least one story I haven't read before.

?? I'm not sure which series you mean. Possibly the 'Skills' series, which I do plan on working on at some point, but no inspiration has struck in awhile on that one. If that's the one you mean, I'm delighted you liked it :)

Oh, right. That's it. "Skills Revealed". Mixed up the title with another title. Have to look up what story "Surprised by Harry" actually is. But I certainly was thinking of the Skills-series. :)

I noticed the end of A Knight of My Own alludes to a sequel. I'm not sure if there really is one. I've only heard of this author here. If you could tell me where I could find more of her work (if there is more) I would really appriciate it. Thank you. :)

If there is one, I'm not aware of it myself, I'm sorry. I don't know anything about the author either.

I can only recommend you to mail Kira who maintains the SS-HP-Fuh-Q-Fest site, kira@kardasi.com
Maybe she knows more about the writer.
