The month still has a week to go, but I want to start finagling words for the new project. I finally finished all fourteen character profiles, and mostly I'm just curious how many words they all are together. Plus I have over thirty separate drabbles now, and that isn't even including the handful I did that aren't of the characters from this. So here we go.

DRABBLE WORD COUNT: 10,484 words

This is all the finagling there is going to be. I'm not going to throw up the word count for the outline again just yet. I've actually been doing mini outlines for the short stories I would like to write, and I'm not putting up that number because I don't have it yet. I have twenty prompts that I was going to turn into things, and I've only written stuff down for the first ten. I intend to have everything written out by the end of the month for the monthly tally.

But this means I've written over ten thousand words that is actually story, even if it's not one cohesive story, but drabbles. And I've written over seventeen thousand words about the characters additionally. Including the outline that's done, that's about thirty thousand words for this so far.

It feels kind of good, even if none of it is real STORY that you could sink into.

Time to get back to work.
