when it requires all of the VLAN ID's be unique in regards to the last four bits.
That is, if you use vlan 2, you can't use vlan 18.

You have 35Mbit of network bandwidth... is a single byte to increase the VLAN suppport to match the spec REALLY that worthwhile???????
