Title: Viva Paris 1/8ish
Spoilers: none this chapter, but this takes in a AU after 2.06.
Rating: Blue Cortina for language and some sexiness, but expect the rating to go up and down throughout the series.
Summary: Sam gets an international phone call. Gene is not impressed.

New fic yay *happy dance*

Love the series of insults you have Gene issuing forth with here especially "Now skip off Toto before I personally punt you over the rainbow so hard that your teeth fall down your arse!" and "His DI said nothing, just smiled like some nancy Colgate advert".

Plus the idea about Litton being in charge back home gives me a great sense of anticipation for where you might go with this. Also the opening line about vehicular suicide is genius. Finally I like the whole premise about taking Gene and Sam out of their current comfort zone - Gene and Manchester go hand in hand so seeing hime elsewhere is intriguing.

Anyway *love* and will be waiting for the next patiently as always.

Yeah I really wanted to have that whole fish outta water feel, poor Sam gets enough of it, Gene should suffer too :)

Yay! *bounces* I *love* your characterisation of Gene (the others too, but him especially). Sam bloody Tyler waiting for him by his office door like a pimp waiting for his cut made me lol, as did Gene's reaction to catching Sam and Annie in the act.

Looking forward to more!

This is great! You write Gene incredibly well. I can just hear him say these things, and just hear Sam say, God I hate you! This is amazing, I can't wait to read more!

I tries, thank you :) And wouldn't you hate Gene too if he interupted you with Annie? Or Sam? Or Annie and Sam? (Actually, I think that's a fic already ;)).
I will have more to come, can't promise it'll be as quick as dakfinv, but relatively :)

If Sam and Annie did get together on the show, I'm pretty sure that Gene would be giving them a hard time about it, knowing him :) I mean, he catches them *talking* together and he gives him a hard time, so I extrapolated :)

Yes! More Linton! I do love him - in an 'I really love to hate that guy kinda way' ... obviously... will he mess everything up? I hope he does.

And Annie slammed Sam against the lockers!? Welcome change, definitely. ;)

Oh Litton's my fave too! :D wiccagal_1996 wrote a fic that had a teeny bit of Litton in it and I begged her for more. She pointed out that she couldn't be responsible for ALL the Litton on the site, and it got me thinking. So here he is, in all his slimy glory.

It's always someone slamming Sam against the lockers, but notice, he proceeds to slam HER into said lockers ;)

Apologies in advance for squee, but *squeee!!*

I'd just read a couple of hundred words before I was going,"Sam and Gene in France!! Eeee!!" You just know that's going to be hilarious.

Then, I've been just thinking recently, the world need more Litton and you've answered that too!

Umm, not all of it will be hilarious. I've been reading up on Paris in 1973, and it's pretty intense, which will be making it's way into the story. But I hope you'll tune in regardless :)

Make as many strange noises as you want, I'll take it as the highest compliment ;)
