This is a poem I wrote last year. Haven't let a lot of people read it, so I figured I'd put it up here for people to finally read tell me wht they think.
Untitled
The flames of passion consume my soul.
I run, fearing they may engulf completely.
It’s almost to much for me to endure.
My soul screams at me to run back into the flames, to let them envelope, to swallow me whole.
I can’t.
My fear of the unknown keeps me running.
Keeps me running from my happiness, my other half, my soul-mate.
Finally I realize I’ve let the fear consume me instead of the burning passion.
I let the flames devour me in their entirety, finding myself undivided in the wake of everlasting passion.
