This summer I am going to try to find every episode of The Clangers. It's a current mini-obsession.
I would like to create something as beautiful, original and enduring as The Clangers.
I am currently being pretentious and writing a fairytale. It has circuses and aristocrats and flowers and fainting fits. Forests and cottages and cruelty. A beautiful heroine and a charming prince. Love and life and happiness after struggle upon struggle. I read an awful lot of fairytales and fiction as a young'un, which is probably the reason for my unrealistic expectations of love and life, but also probably the source of my ability to be happy irregardless.
Last night was my first Trinity Ball. Vitalic got cancelled but I was right at the front for Boys Noize. Currently bruised and bashed and achey but it was wonderful. Felt like life.
