I watched some 'Sports Night' and 'West Wing' the other day, and I got to thinking about the recycled storylines and jokes we can expect to see in 'Studio 60'--we've already seen a few, and the season's only three episodes in.
So, I present to you: Things I predict we will see at some point in the series 'Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip':
- a letter-writing episode
- various bits of at least moderately interesting information being revealed "in the interest of full disclosure"
- someone's parents getting a divorce due to the father's prolonged infidelity
- someone being very interested in sailing
- a hated ex named Lisa
- someone being publicly shamed for mistaking two similar sounding but opposite things
- outsiders being brought in to save a sinking ship, and everyone will hate them at first, then come to appreciate their insight
- someone suffering from debilitating writer's block
- a game of poker
- also, the following actors will appear in minor, but recurring roles: Ted McGinley, Clark Gregg, Lisa Edelstein, Timothy Davis-Reed, Ron Ostrow, and Jeff Mooring
There are probably more that I'm forgetting. If anyone else can think of any, please let me know--they will be added to the list, and we'll see how many come true.
