I'd like to think the time change doesn't bother me. So maybe I'm just having trouble sleeping. Or maybe a steady diet of Brawndo the Thirst Mutilator and Double Stuffed ELFudge cookies isn't good for you. But I dunno, I've been in a jovial mood as of late, I just don't sleep as well. Quite, quite odd.
Our top story tonight, I really like the Old English way of insulting people. Cause they did it with flair and dignity, while still trying to remain courteous. The simplest example would be, "Damn you, sir!" How often do you hear men refer to each other as "Sir" and mean it with respect? To damn someone with such authority and then still be a gentleman about it and call him, "Sir." That's class. And that's awesome.
But in other news, I saw something on Family Guy that made me roffle. Yes, I roffled quite hard. Ya know where I hit the point in laughing where I can't breathe, it's a silent, gasping for air laugh. And when I catch my breath, I laugh quite heartily and until I can't breathe again. Repeat.
Anyway, the Family was forced to wear white wigs because of some toxic lake or something. They complained, but Stewie said he liked it and felt like Mozart, and started playing on the piano a la Mozart. He names a bunch of tunes, and Peter says, "Play Peter Griffin." And Stewie says, "Now that is a challenge." And he plays a little diddy while acting stupid, and everyone laughs. Cut to an old Peter talking to another guy and he says, "It wasn't Stewie laughing at me, it was God." Then he does one of the most hilarious gasps while dramatic music plays. Took me a while to find the clip. I would have just put it up and not explained it, but since I did that already, I'm leaving it. Suck it.

It's cool cause it's put with Amadeus, which I haven't seen in a while. I THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY. It's no Greensleeves Snickers commercial, but it's something solid out of Family Guy.
Lastly, it sucks that you can't find any good clips of Prince performing on the interweb. I know little to nothing about actually playing instruments. But I know I like Prince, and I'd like to see him play. This is a clip from the end of the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame show, the gang threw down "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and at about 3:30, Prince comes in on guitar.

If Purple Rain taught me nothing, don't sleep on Prince. And Tom Petty. Tom, Tom, Tom. I love you, but your Super Bowl performance sucked. From someone who has such a deep well of hits and great songs to go to, you should have rocked the house, but that was the most uninspired playing of some your hits ever. I'd think it was a cover band or something. While on the other hand, if they had online video to prove it, Prince's playing during the previous Super Bowl rocked.
