So hello again to all my friends. Happy President's Day. They had a Revolutionary War marathon on the Military channel and now there's a President's marathon on the History Channel. Cool.
Anyway, I had an idea today. I don't think there's enough grading involved in insurance rates. Sure they consider stuff like age and gender, smoking and other habits. But I don't see why there's not an annual test involved in insurance rates.
Much like you pass a test to get your license, I don't see why you shouldn't be able to pass a test to lower your rates. Or the reverse, if you mess up the test, you'd be judged a high risk and have to pay more until the next year. Maybe you should have studied harder?
If the money saved isn't enough reason, atleast a yearly driving test would possibly make some below average or average drivers into being better road companions. I know some companies have their no accident savings and all kinds of other deals which I'm sure are just dandy, but I like my idea better.
Just a thought.
