Tomorrow's light would mourn his freedom
Apparently there is something about college football I don't understand. Because I cannot, for the life of me, understand why all the analysts and college football types keep sucking the dick of USC. Like if anyone even mentions them getting beaten, it's like you're suddenly saying the world is flat. I thought one of the major selling points of college football was watching a high ranked team lose to a lesser ranked team. But no, this could never happen to USC.
And it bothers me even more when people compare USC to LSU by saying there is no comparison. USC is apparently the runaway favorite this year. I guess football isn't played on the field anymore. If you know me, you know I really don't know much about college football. But I do know if Bears can make it to a Superbowl, LSU should be able to beat USC.
It's not like this is Muhammad Ali vs. a midget, it's football. I just hate people who like to ride band wagons, I was saying Peyton Manning was the best QB around while people drank the Tom Brady kool-aid, and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna come out on top of that one. Tom Brady is great and plays for a great team, but Peyton Manning is on another level. Sorry, that's just a fact. USC is great, but I don't see what makes them fucking untouchable, especially by a team as good as LSU.
Oh well, I suppose. We'll see soon enough. In other news, I won 55 dollars playing in an Omaha cash game. Quite exhilarating. We played 40 buyins with each chip worth 1 dollar. I saw some pots get up in the 120 dollar area. Then I won 75 at the casino tonight. Hooray. But the WCOOP is pretty much here. I'm so anxious and nervous, I'm never this rattled. But I enjoy the feeling.
I've waited for this moment for months. Will it be worth it? Stay tuned to find out.
