...this past weekend was pretty decent. Friday, I worked at ye old grinder place. Saturday, I had solo & ensemble where I played in a woodwind quintet. Let me tell you, it was the best sounding quintet I have been in. It was so good, I think we might go global. Shoot, I'm not gonna lie...we are the best. Nah, we aren't that good, but it was fun and we fricken got a division I (one). For all of you n00bs out there, a I is the best rating you can get.
After solo & ensemble, I met up with Anna and Staci. It has been a long time since I have hanged out with them...since September if I remember correctly. We got some Subway which was delicious. Mmm! Later that night I went out with Anna and Staci again. The night took us to Barnes & Noble where we scarfed down some delicious drinks and a sundried tomato pretzel. As you can imagine, it was like a party in our mouths. Yeah...that good! After that, we headed back to Staci's apartment and watched Just Like Heaven.
On Sunday, I went to church with my dad while my mom cleaned up the house to prepare for an open house. Yes, my family is still trying to sell our house even though I'm not too keen about moving. My parents keep telling me it won't matter after I graduate if I'm going to Belmont University. Speaking of Belmont, I turned in my application last week so I really hope that I get accepted!! Please pray for me! :)
That night, I went to see Final Destination 3 with Cherise and Jimmy. It was a pretty good movie. I definitely think it's better than the first two movies. Since then, I got my tattoo touched up yesterday which it is pretty sore right now. It feels like a sunburn. Bleh.
Today as we all know is Valentine's Day. I wasn't expecting anything at all considering how I don't believe I have any secret admirers and I don't have a boyfriend. To my surprise, a beautiful white rose and some baby's breath was delivered to me at the tech center. w00t! Josh was so thoughtful and sweet. Of course it was only natural for me to give him a hug. I love giving hugs. That's what Jill is all about. Love and hugs...and drugs. Just kidding about the drugs. After school, my dad took me and my mom out to Chili's for dinner. Aww! I got some steak, load mashed potatoes, broccoli and some garlic toast that I didn't eat. Oh well. Today was good. This is it.
