Made a new userpic.. it's from Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me movie, because I've been watching the new Twin Peaks series as hungrily as I've been watching the new Game of Thrones or Preacher! That red-haired lady is known as Lil and could be interpreted as Lynch's meta comment on his own films.
Went to see Voltaire couple weeks ago. On the way there my mini-van died (with a load full of people). The show was amazing, so much fun, got to hang out with people I don't normally hang out with, with added alcohol social lubricant.
I drank myself to blissful oblivion the night of the show, but the next day I had to face facts. Turns out my van's transmission is shot. Called the place (it's where I always go, I trust them), the dude said $1650 he found for a used tranny with warranty. Then he told me about the van's transmission. Ha! (that's a joke) Anyway my mother offered to lend me the money, on top of all the other money I fucking owe, and Matt has been picking me up/dropping me off for work in the meantime.
