The visions that I see believe in me

So I emailed my dad back, and I tried to explain how hurt I was by his implications.

He replied, telling me that it was stupid of him to have offered the loan, because loans between friends and family members don't work out, ever, and he'd rather not have that kind of tension between us.

So, everything will be okay on that front. Thank the gods. I don't like being mad at him, because we worked hard to be as close as we are, and I don't want to go backwards.

Thanks for all the advice posted so far. My mom said the University is hiring students like crazy because of the budget cuts, so I'm gonna check there, and also look at banks and grocery stores and whatnot. Hopefully by this time next year, the economy will be a bit safer, and Borders will be able to give me the hours I want/need.

The credit card companies are still exploding my phone, but I'll deal with that when I can.

I'm looking for the silver lining in all this, which is that omfg I'm never making that mistake again. I learned my lesson once the hard way, and never again!!! Misty = Responsible with money, from now on.

Things are looking up... I hope.

silver lining, money, dad
