So it looks like we're going to be using this powerful Meeting tracker tool to organize our annual project finance conference. This is a major project of mine, something that I look forward to every year. I spend countless hours, including OT getting this conference together, from invitations to registrations, confirmation letters, logistics of rooming, etc. Basically, this software is going to do my job - and in a much more efficiently organized manner. Now I know, I am going to be the "human" power behind this program, but still, I can't help feel that some of my work is being taken away. Sure, it will make my job easier, but I have always enjoyed putting the extra time in on this project.
Hopefully I will find ways to keep my level of involvement integral to the project. It's just a bit stressful to accept change. I've done this conference for 5 years and this is a huge overhaul to the entire process. I'm trying to be excited by the possibilities....
