(no subject)
tomorrow is my first day to work at Kay Jewelers! that's correct! i have a social work degree but i'm going to sell jewelry instead. but its ok, cuz i'm still working at JDC when i can.....cuz i love it there. i'm a little nervous for tomorrow, but excited too--it may be a really good thing. its full-time, pays decently, (plus commision), has amazing benefits. AND when erik and i move away i can just get transferred to a kay's "out there", and keep our insurance and stuff. that'd be a really smart way to first move.
this weekend erik and i and amy (who flew in from nashville!) went to a sleeping at last show in chicago! it was sooooo gooood. i love those guys. and then we stayed at their aunt and uncle's house in st. charles. we arrived well after midnight but they still greeted us with brownies and milk. and when we woke up they became the international house of waffles. soooooooooooooo gooooood.
one year ago today erik and i got engaged! crazy! see, days like this are more important than a silly valentines day! on valentines day erik and i shoveled out our driveway, walked to the brew for a coffee date, and then watched a documentary about global warming! (an inconvenient truth....by al gore) it was a normal happy day. i do have the cutest hubby on this planet of ours.
life is still awesome, except i ate too much cheese this weekend (chicago pizza), and now my tummy hurts cuz i'm a little....consterpated. ok, that's plenty, bye!
