Grey Skies and Emerald Waters...
well, it's been a while so I thought I would update seeing as I am actually in the mood to do so today. I've still been dealing with a bit of a lack of motivation. It probably has quite a bit to do with the fact that I am still having trouble sleeping, and as such, am not getting enough sleep... I never get more than six on a weekday and I end up making up for it on the weekend like I did when I was in high school. It isn't as bad as back then, thank god, but it's not far off. I feel like I'm still living on a day to day basis emotionally and mentally. I don't like that in the slightest because I like to have things more organized in my mind then that, but things seem to be doing there own thing right now.
on the weekend I ended up going out to the lake on saturday with Drew and Brett to do some fishing. it was nice out there... the water was really warm, actually (I had to go retrieve a lure that was hooked on a rock). not much in the way of fish, though. there was another guy on the beack fishing with us as well, he caught some sunfish. the highlight of the evening was the other guy reeling in a turtle. I didn't know they were even in that lake. lol. the turtle ate the bait and consequently got himself hooked. fortunatly it was not bad, but even at that, it took three of us to get the hook out of his mouth. he was biting at the pliers that were trying to get the hook and hiding in his shell. I had the job of holding the poor little guy while this was going on... little bastards claws are sharp! but he was fine in the end... and I'm sure he'll have a story to tell his kids...
today wasn't too bad at work... I am feeling like I'm fighting off a bug of some sort. I hope it goes away soon...apperently the weather wasn't so bad in town... but up in brentwood there were a bunch of pockets of nastiness floating by all day.
I bought the CD Reise, Reise by Rammstein last week. I had forgotten just how much I enjoy their music. I haven't listened to too much else in the past week... it's been a while since I've done that with any cd... it's definatly one of my favorites...
